Thanks for all the help! I wanted to give something back, so I did this tutorial. There is a similar tutorial linked on page 49 or such but this one is more in depth and with explanatory images. I hope that someone will find it useful. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Thanks again!
On snow and sand there are these techniques some games have tried (edit: well, tried and succeeded!), but they are very complicated: * Effects Techniques Used in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception (page 49) * Deformable Snow Rendering in Batman™: Arkham Origins (page 10)

I'm not a games artist, but if I could go back in time, I would have never touched this art thing and pursued some form of tech Engineering. At this point, it's too late for me to retrain (49) so I'm forced to produce something...anything.

It should have been rhinokey's first match too, but he was suspended for steriod abuse (politics). Looks great though.

Hello, I would like to make a composition for one thing I created, is it okay to use third party models and textures for my scene? Like trees, stones and grass. Should I mention that I only created the thing? I found good free foliage on the internet from Alter 49, should I mention them?
Is anyone here good at lighting setups in Unity? [11:49 PM] Trying to learn how to use Universal Render Pipeline and im in a situation where we are developing an AR game and we are looking at ways to help processing power. So naturally it would be wise to look into baked lightmaps. But it looks terrible. Anyone got time to…
Justin: try right clicking on that voxel object in the new scene graph/ tree and choose the mesh quadrangulation option. Make sure symmetry is on too when you do it. I'd like to see a pic of the result you end up with. =] (assuming you're using build 49)
