I have a static mesh with multiple materials on it that I'm trying to vertex plaint but it seems the paint cursor only displays itself on one of the materials (and one that doesn't need the vertex painting effect, at that). Is this standard procedure? I'd have thought that vertex painting was little more than applying…
Hi! Is there anyway to view my vertex colors in high quality rendering in maya 8.5? I can see my vertex colors multiplying on my diffuse texture and it looks fine, but when i turn on high quality rendering to see it with my normalmap, it gets all messy. How is it possible to view both vertex colors and normalmaps in maya?
so basically, just to conclude this, it seems its just not possible to use vertex lit materials and vertex lights and lightmaps all at once in unity. Unless you have the know how to make some bespoke vertex lit lightmap shader that accepts vertex lighting?
