It's coming along nicely! Yeah I think it would fit a lot better if you changed the carpet to something more like the concept. Because you have a modern carpet in an ancient looking room. *Edit* whoops juts read that your gonna change it anyway. Flames or smoke would look cool.
scoobydoofus: that sony 24 inch crt is what i had on the flame* i was toying with. don't you run into problems with wacoms on this one? for me, the intuos freaked out with a shaking cursor when i put it close to the screen. before that i had barely believed the stories about monitors that interfere with tablets.
Yeah the flame from the gun messes up the face. Also the prone figure isnt working like I guess you would want. In any case its always good to check your image (composition) is working by viewing a zoomed out instance before doing the final render.
Here is the Brasero : (that will burn with the flames of Pan the great billy goat) :poly121: Finally the high poly foot of the brasero hasn't pleased us at the end of the modeling process. Too organic in our mind so we decided to go for a much more simpler version and keep our goat head.
How did you get that image? is it being mapped onto the uv map? if so then it would be so much easier. plz help <3 also how do u upload images like that to poly count the best part about this awp is the way the flames move around the hole.
It's ok but it could be greater - lighting. At the moment those torch/flames aren't casting any light on the objects around them, or on the floor. Make the lights influence the environment more. Create more contrasting lighting because at the moment it looks like there's one big ambient light that we can't see.
I like the layout but I'm with Ben Apunda. I liked the older lighting just because of the atmosphere it gave off. I also like the flame mouth concept you got going. I think you could figure out a way to marry the two :) . Looks great though.
not certain if you want input, but did enjoy the slightly more relaxed atmosphere of the 'requests forum', or at least the orpourtunity to be silly that was once the 'spinning quad' thread... though then again having seen a few unnessacarry flames here, guess a bit of 'hitting people on the head with big hammers' could be…
Completely volumetric explosions for Unity. Casts self shadows, has modifiable flames, opacity, smoke density and light dissipation. The best part is that the entire thing only uses two 2K textures for the animation and the smoke shape is constructed within the shader. The limitations are that you can see resolution…
Thought you people might be interested in my latest zbrush work, if not feel free to flame me back to where i came from. I'm glad ive finally progressed beyond the patrick steward stage(more so when i put some hair in). Also i know its missing something but i just cant put my finger on it.
