I'm definately gonna be picking this game up when it hits the shelves. I can't wait to see all the hard work you lot have put into it, trailers and CG certainly sold the game to me instantly in the first place.

Hi, despite the fact that I am in the cg industry since 15 year, I have never done a full character. I more a hard surface guy I took this old concept that I had drawn and reworked it original concept Reworked concept
Inspired by the CG chat challenge to make girls (challenge is here) Thought it could be nice to have a thread here where we can dump progress together, that can show nudity etc. Just lots of sexy girls in one thread
Precisely. Irrespective of a particular specialisation, increasing competitiveness is the overarching factor. So aside from the entertainment sector, this also holds true throughout other industries where generally CG based technologies in the past decade or more has seen growth.
no i did not finish :/ learnt a great deal though :) Got some great help and critical advice from Drew Robertson. The head of cg at axis Glasgow. He was kind enough to give me a few huge pointers! Thanks Drew
Yes, I agree with make CG. That's exactly what I was thinking. That sculpt is awesome, by the way. It might look better if those mini horns were enlarged. I guess they're intended to be smaller than typical, though. It's up to you.
i'm pretty sure they would handle it by using a secret technique of Not Including It. oh, and Tsutomu Nihei is indeed awesome. i heard some cg film of blame! was in the making but it's been a long time since i saw any news about it.
Yeah, huge improvements. Dunno what you can get your hands on, if you can find books by Pphilippe Faraut they're very useful. (They're general sculpture not CG specific, but he explains forms etc really well.)
If you are going to buy 'Art of Rigging' I definitely suggest buying it from CG toolkit! Its e-books (I Guess thats up to preference if you'd rather want it on paper) but the main argument is that its whole lot cheaper!
