So I'm still pretty new to 3d, just learning to sculpt characters and model out environments and get them into cryengine. But this is where I'll post my stuff to share. I'm currently an online student at Futurepoly and Uartsy and I started this thread basically to share where the next few months take me. Cheers, Jeff My…
Hi fellow artists!! I made this bust based on the great 2D concept of Alexandra Frantseva. Sculpted on Zbrush and texturing with Substance Painter. Is my first try with Substance and are still too much to improve but Im really happy with it. Renders from Marmoset Toolbag and Substance Painter) Hope you like it!!!…
I was wondering if anyone ahd encountered a bug where you can paint weights on certain bones? I have a CS rig with extra roll bones. I can paint the weights for normla bones fine, but with the roll bones SOMETIMES SOME VERTS wont be painted. It looks like it only happens when the vert shares 2 roll bones.
Ok, so I'm extremely late to the party and I found out about this like yesterday. I started a low poly and I'm almost done with it. So pretty much I'm going to bust my ass on this one and see if I can make something happen. If it don't look good by the deadline then .....well I guess this will be good practice. WIP 01:
Hey guys here's my current WIP of a hardcore female bust. This is just a primary shape pass but detail and TLC are coming next. Just a proxy base mesh for a hair style, but will replace with cards soon. The grayed off section of her neck to chin will be comprised of tattoos to get an idea of what to expect from texturing.…
Hey all, After the tragic loss of my alleyway scene, I decided to bust out some PBR textures I'd been working on to refresh myself. They're sculpted in ZBrush, but I may pop into Substance Desiogner once I get my own license. Rendered in Marmoset 2, critique would be sweet :) Here's some outdoor stone: And a brick wall:
Hello Polycount. I am new to 3D, and have been learning zbrush. I would really like critique on my work (i'll upload more). Everything helps. model This is a WIP head of Akuma from Street Fighter. model A quasi biomechanical bust. model Urien WIP, from Street Fighter, in his Aegis Reflector pose. Thanks.
Actually I want her to have that bulge. Her face is modeled off of a woman I know locally at a coffee shop, her body is inspired by Frazetta's women but much smaller bust. And even then the thighs aren't as huge as his women but you know how the symmetry modifier can be with that sort of thing. I'll tweak the head size,…
Thanks for the feedback! The bust idea is interesting haven't thought about that earlier... Might turn it into a bust, will give it some more thought. I had in mind to use this to learn animations etc too :/ And yes the clothing does look blobby as u say, it's very WIP and i had in mind to take a second sweep on all the…
Hey Piotr, Some notes here and there and some have said some already. Right now that dress looks super out of place. Get rid of it. Now, you clearly know how to model. You have really clean topology. Your main problem is your texturing and your lack of material definition. You need to really spend more time with those…
