I got it working! I tried using just a plain ol' black & white image for the alpha, but it didn't seem to want to play by the rules. So what i had to end up doing was putting in the alpha layer in the channels in Photoshop, and then saving it as a .tif file, since it was the only one i found which worked. Is .tif a good… -
