Can someone post a small "how to" load the various basic animations for a decompiled SMD DOTA 2 character in 3DS MAX? I want to pose the character using the bones for the purpose of creating promo images for various items I've created. Much obliged.
Hi, I am a 2d artist. Also I can do 3d, however it is not my field. If you would like to model any of my concepts message me. To be honest, I am not good at introducing myself so just have a look at my Art for Dota
Hello there! I'm a concept artist/illustrator curretly looking for freelance work, I mostly focus on stylized charactes/creatures, with an artstyle very similar to Overwatch, LoL, Dota, etc. Portfolio: https://www.artstation.com/nexzerker Contact: nexzketch@gmail.com
Sorry for the dumb question but i'd like to get a picture open onto photoshop of the base hero model so i can paint around it like most other artists do for dota equipment design?
Hello I like to make Dota 2 items. This is where I am going to post my WIP items. Here is an item I just put in with ShadowStarBear for the Spring2014 event. Please vote/comment. Thanks! =) Elder Mace of Jade
Is this possible? I essentially am looking for an easy way to apply a dark to light gradient across a model, that's even across all subtools to use as a layer in photoshop during texturing composition. (Think dota style texturing).
Howdy y'all. Just started doing DotA 2 workshop stuff with a couple concept artist friends of mine, and figured I'd share what we're working on here. Working on an Ember set right now Also a quick weapon for Magnus
I would bring the blacks up a bit instead of 100% dark. I don't think it works well for in-game lighting. In fact that is a rule for dota 2 textures (page 5). I really like the design though.
