First thought it to be another DMC Clone (the marketing department really didn't do a good job on that), but after reading some Reviews I am really hyped for the game...have to see, if I can get it today...it look really great and I always watched the Nintendo-Zelda players with more than a little envy...
I have the HP envy which I find quite nice - its an i7 720 quad core with 6 gigs of ram and a dx11 ati gfx card - I think its the 5850 radeon - it didnt cost a fortune either... Also it doesnt look like garbage like most other pc laptops :P
Yeah I find that balancing time is hard. I've never had a 9-5 being a retail worker my whole life thus far, getting time in to do personal work is somewhat tough. My hours aren't ever the same so I envy the steady 9-5 stuff sort of haha.
Hello :) You guys have a Facebook page? I am the representative of TADT Team, a Spanish Facebook page of League of Legends News. Let me tell you have done a great job. And you dont have nothing to envy Riot. If you understand Spanish, check this post: https://www.facebook.com/TADTeam/posts/966934839985517
Hey all, here are some screenshots of an environment I'm currently finishing up. Next up on my task list is to create a skybox for my night scene. Thank you for sharing the thought process and breakdown of your projects. I'm also commenting to subscribe to your thread as you have a lot of great information! I love the surface reflections in the space school envi. Maybe it's a touch too clean. A bit of dirt and grunge could help give it a lived-in feel. Great work all…
A lot of interesting thoughts more recently. As an aspiring Environment Artist about to graduate next spring I'm finding little nuggets of in all these posts. I can honestly say I envy Character Artist's for their grasps on the human form, but their job is just as demanding as any other within a studio...just different…
Splurge, go for the 9 x 12. Yeah, it's $400, but once you start using it everyday, you'll see it's worth it. I almost neglect drawing in a sketchbook since I got mine. Much easier to just draw in photoshop. Plus, you don't want to develop wacom envy later if you get a small one again.
Hello everybody, i am self-thaught and study 3d for 1 year. I see on web specilization is important and also feels logical. I am sure i want to be a modeler for games.
