Usually when this happens, i rename the following folder. C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2013 - 64bit Then start 3dsmax 2013, it will create another settings folder.All your settings,custom scripts will go.
Splines don't suck as bad in 3dsmax as they do in Maya, so there is a lot of flexibility there just with splines. Outside of that, if you go back to the first page and scroll down a bit you'll find PipeGen which is pretty much zPipeMaker for 3dsmax.
You probably would like to try "KeyHydra" for 3Dsmax you can manage keyboard shortcuts visually, and it add multitap and context sensitive shortcuts to 3dsmax. Www.onikanabo.com/keyhydra it's also available on gumroad. A free trial do exist as well.
Trying to create the skin tools it already in 3dsmax..... for Maya!!! It works perfectly.... I only try to find a solution and get red and blue colors same as 3dsmax.... Maybe I can use the Maya's paint tools... Anyway, on progress! :)

Microneezia: OK i tested the export all, and obj doesn't work when importing it into 3dsmax. I discovered that if you export as an STL (make sure you type that extension when saving it.) it opens in 3dsmax. Not sure if Maya supports stl files though.
