Hi guys, Is there a way to transform an object so that it "wraps around" a spline? Like this: thanks in advance! if there is a way to do so it would seriously make things easier for me :D .
Head study. Trying to use a variety of references to block out and refine something from imagination. Still got a few days to wrap out details on this before feedback session on friday.
Any tips on creating a nice tileable cliff texture? Such as: My attempts in Zbrush didn't go so well since the wrap tool doesn't work well with a rectangular plane.
I'm going model the details on a plane and then use the conform compound object to wrap it around the grip. At least that's the plan. If all else fails NDO.
Thanks for the fast replies, I will try to use splines like suggested, using the 'paper wrap' as a low poly, and finishing it off in substance painter.
