well it's really heartening to see that so far we've managed not to end up like comics did back in the day. Movies are still sadly rather strictured by ratings stuff, but nobody gets in an uproar these days about kids sneaking into R-rated movies. so far so good -

The Light Bulb Hero
Hey Polycount, I wanted to know if the muscles and everything of this guy are in the correct place before I start detailing. I based him on a light bulb (he'll get a yellow afro and a logo on his chest). He kinda has to be someone who's fascinated by comic book heroes and has trained his whole life to become such a hero. -

I don't remember where I read this, I think it was from a comic book author: using a standing desk means transfering the stress from your back to your knees \ legs, so make sure you're not worse with your legs than you are with your back. -

See, I'm one of those people that sees "Invaders" and "Captain" in the same sentence, and thinks of the Captain America comics published in the 70's but set during WWII, with Bucky, the Sub-Mariner, and the original Human Torch... But really nice work. Has a kind of "Halo" vibe on it, but with more detail. -

I reckon there is no need to go fancy with a tablet unless you are stepping over to a cintiq. I have 2 bamboos running on win 10 and a newer comic tablet. The tablet is app sensitive so with zbrush it steps over to a central pad operation area. Also pretty affordable. -

can you really slowly spring into action? tbh, your final image doesn't match the build-up. It actually seems like a couple of heavies and their villain boss ... i mean, a big lummox "cracking his knuckles", it's a comic image, something from a cockney gangster film.
