[Maya]Please recomend me some good Mel scripts?
Hey guys I'm switching back to maya from max. Last time I was using maya was back in 2008 and the only mel script that I used was mjpolytools. I was wondering if there were any new very uselful mel scripts(modeling/UVing) that I should get. For example in max "textools" is an amazing script that I can't live without. Thanks -

What happens when you delete all lights from your level. Place a single pointlight in the middle of the level with a large 10 000 or so radius, and rebuild. What is the size then? Try to have a Dir Light also, not a dom dir light. Dir lights have no dynamic shadow and lighting, though that should normally not impact the… -

Yeah and maybe this was some sort of bug in 2008, some weird memory leak or something. It seemed like the more I worked on the scene the worse it would get, I had times where a bake that should take about an hour was taking 8-16 hours!!! When I figured out the delete history thing I was soooo happy.
