Thx for the 1st reply and I am so touched T.T Alright straight to the point , I think its because of the giant round thing that makes it appears to be short . The weapon should be roughly approximate to the original length so I think it wont the problem . ;D
For cloth folds, try taking a few pics of diferent types of cloth in diferent hanging states and use them for reference. Like a bedsheet draped over a chair for example. Your models are looking cool, I can see huge improvement from the 1st to the last
I'm seeing that weapons in UT3 range from about 4000 to 12000 triangles for the 1st-person models, and about a third of that for third-person. Also, the texture maps for the guns are mostly brought in at 2048. So there are some numbers to work with if you want to go by UT3 standards.
Those "hardcore Fallout Fans" should just give Bethesda a fucking break. What has been released so far from Fallout3 looks really promising, and being able to run around in 1st/3rd Person in the World of Fallout should be good fun.

If you take a look at the reference option box there are three options: 1st to give the file name, 2nd to give another custom name and 3rd not to rename it. The recommended workflow is really to give the file name, giving a prefix is necessary to avoid repeated nodes in the scene and to maintain consistency.
s I tried script in maya 2015 no luck :( would have solved the radial symmetry problem for me. nice trick mogul did u put cylijnder as a refrence to the 1st object? I think for most of the problems i will have to use duplicate special and then weld
