So...I already explained it on the forums, but it wasn't the first time I asked that and nobody answered it, so here's the post: "I'm facing that classic bug that apparently no one has solved to this day. Leaves are completely unlit when a spotlight is near to them (I tested with other light types and this only happens…
Hello there! My name is Nathan and
after thinking long and hard I decided on designing a new skin AND create a splash for
our favourite space puppy, Aurelion Sol. We've seen a few Dark Star
skins already, and what better way to honour our star's fall from
grace, than by transforming his ethereal being into a literal…
I'm looking for help with 3D modeling for my low poly game. You play as an elderly man who struggles to remember his past. The game takes place across multiple environments created within the main characters head. Each environment reveals parts of the main characters life as you slowly learn who you are. Any help with…
I got a lifetime subscription to secondlife back in the day ( I was in the beta for a while) and eventually got bored and stopped playing. For this portfolio piece I wanted to get inspired by the crafty, impossible yet believable weapon designs of these games. What better than C4 attached to something like a…
So credit goes to this VFX artist from youtube, originally I wasn't sure how to solve this but it seemed like he did all of the experimentation so I didn't have to. Here is a link to the youtube video by Burton that helped guide me to using capacitive touch to solve my specific clicking issue when using a mouse. His…
Update: Solved the issue. Turned out Painter didn't like having the normal channel switched on for the Steel Rough material whilst having 'zero' as a value. Disabling the normal channel OR increasing the value solved the error. Very strange.
