I want to pose them together, but the poly counts of the horse and rider are too large. When I import the horse into the rider file, Zbrush turns into a white screen then crashes. Would you happen to know a way to combine the two into one Zbrush file so I can pose them? I guess I could always pose them in 2 separate files…
Digital tutors is worth a 1 month subscription, the video on sculpting aging was good, and one or two of their other sculpting videos was good. I don't think you can justify more than a one month subscription though - most of the stuff is either too basic, or the individuals don't seem to have enough background to be…
I'm cool with doing away with parties, but when it comes down to the final voting I prefer only two candidates so that the majority declares the victor. If that means I have to afiliate with one out of two parties to ensure a majority, so be it. If a candidate, especially in the primaries, can't maintain a broad enough…
what about a 24-inch widescreen as the main monitor and a pivoted 19- or 21-inch one for email and random spillover? two fat widescreens seem just a bit ... wide ;) - particularly for a tablet user who wants to match the overall aspect ratio of their setup. i used two pivoted 21-inchers with regular aspect ratio for a…
Yes it's part two, part one I'll post on here too (soon), it seems I'm bringing them both up roughly at the same time. Part two, is a Hangar/Diner type scene, It'll have both interior and exterior showing. The Hangar (as i simply call it) has a mountain on one side, and other than the runway it has a giant wall surrounding…
So I have made a skin called 'RUSH' which was made in the retro/geometric scifi format which was popularised in the eighties. This used bright fluorescent colors to be able to portray a scene. This scene was in idea of upper tunnels in dust 2 where the pillar is; here, two people were running and one gets shot. But this…
@snork: Thanks snork! I don't feel skilled enough in 3d to take that side of a collaboration, i'm just learning and it's too much of a responsability : ) @spudnik: Thanks for the input. I tried a version with the handle as you suggest before deciding on this one, i was really undecided among the two but close relative's…
Hi Nikki, Welcome to the wonderful world of 3D modeling! :) I'm curious, you said this is your first model, so will you plan on building a high poly then baking it to a low poly? or will you be trying just the low for now? I honestly recommend the latter if it's your first just so you can get a good feel of the process and…
Every day. I've been doing this for 12+ years I think. I keep learning and adapting and growing as an Artist. The good thing is I look at my old work and see growth from what I'm doing now. So that's always promising. About 5 years ago I found myself in need of a job. I hadn't worked on my portfolio outside of work and it…
Hello, when baking the Normalmaps and AO of a cylindrical object I often get these round black corners (see picture). Is there a way to prevent this, or do I have to make the low-poly a bit more high poly? Or do you edit it afterwards in photoshop?
