How did they do the fur in Tropical Freeze?
I just can't get over how good this fur looks. It's full, dynamic, relatively shiny, and it's all real-time. Any ideas on how they did it? At first I figured it was the old "fins and shells" but I don't see the hovering segments you get from that. Unfortunately there's no Iwata Asks for this game... -

i get such slowdowns when i work on my powerbook in both photoshop and illustrator.. sometimes the palletes just wont respond .. they just freeze .. yet other components of the gui work .. it's really weird.. i am forced to restart the program .. i have never encountered the problem on my pc -

Do something that can show off the fundamentals: wood, metal, stone, fabric & natural stuff (trees, grass, etc..). Fell free to do something uncommon but don't use that as an excuse for crappy design, all good fantasy designs are grounded in reality: gather a library of photo reference of tree houses and other house styles. -
