Weird artifacts on low poly(flat surface)

Maya .smd (Source Engine) export problems
Hello everyone I'm trying to export from Maya to the Source Engine. I tried to install the .smd exporter that comes with the Source SDK. O! Damn I have to get my EIN before that or they cant put the Dazzle Set ingame if they want to. And if the data confirmation takes too long it will be too late for the event too but well last year they put items in during the event so I guess its fine. It could be a dead sector that slows down the drive to a crawl. You can use HD tune to find out: http://www.hdtune.com/ That wont fix it, but will confirm if the drive is healthy in that aspect. There's usually a tool from the drive manufacturer website that will "block" out bad sectors so you can still use it...i wouldnt… -

I know I had a very poor result with the face compared to the original sculpture, also the hair are very unnatural and flat, I have a lot of things to learn about hair as it was my first attempt in doing it.
