Hello everyone
I'm trying to export from Maya to the Source Engine. I tried to install the .smd exporter that comes with the Source SDK. The instructions on the Valve Wiki say to edit the path to the location where your copy of maya.exe is located. I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. Can anyone confirm?
set Path=C: \Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Maya2011\bin;%Path%

there is a community made script around too, but it is also shit.
even know maya is my main package, when it comes to source i pretty much always just export to 3ds Max or Blender to do the smd export.

there plug-in s olny for 2009, and the prall smd export scrpt listed there is very slow, and doesn't always work, so just use blender or max since they both got decent smd exporters.
