cool stuff man!!! do you mind filling me in on how you did the armor ? Im doing a similar sort of character at the moment, and have just switched from my dynamesh to regular polymesh, and slowly refining forms and what not, but i feel i will struggle with the exoskeleton so any help would be great
Out of curiosity, has any one ever tried a reverse work flow from high rez to low rez? 1. Sculpt the rock in zbrush using dynamesh 2. re-topo 3. unwrap 4. bake normal I was watching David Lesperance's Gnomon Master Class, and it happens to be an interesting technique that he showed.
So here's work on the next monster the Putrid Defiler from Act V. This is a dynamesh rough sketch/block out. I added a mouth like tongue because according to game animations it seems to be that through a tongue like appendage is how it infects other monsters. Design is still subject to change in some parts at this point.
Thank you very much!! I didn't use Fusion that much for this piece. I only used it on a few small canister like pieces I have in my IMM brushes from previous projects. I tried to do almost everything with Zbrush's booleans and dynamesh just to try and push how I work with them.
Triangulate the mesh maybe? I'm not sure if if the vector text to polygons has made an ngon for the top face giving that shape such as O, I remember getting similar problems when I booleaned a plane few years ago. If you had a way to rebuild the mesh like dynamesh or blenders equivalent that might fix the problem.
