I'm not sure I understand the question - do you need general information about how rigs are laid out, or specific data about orientation of bones? When rigging a character generally the bone orientation will be X along the bone, and then you'd keep Y or Z common along the limbs. As I recall Biped in 3ds max has the Z axis… -

Rigging an arm/elbow? with weights only?
Is it posible to make a good looking forarm rigg with only joints and weigthing. Making the forarm rotate 90deg´s is no problem im just having a real problem when it comes to 90+deg´s. Is ther a good tutorial for this? Hope my question makes sens =) Thanks! -

@Jaston3D I was planning to do it through shaders. Wanted to create a bunch of alpha masks for the background, the rings and the text and use some panners and rotators to animate the text and rings. Maybe I'll start with it tomorrow to see how that worls :smile: -

Thanks alot guys, i'll see if i can upload a video of it when i can. For the wings i actually made a rig about a year and a half ago using a modifed biped, which turned out pretty good for the flying animation. So if i could recreate that in my own setup using IK that'd be great. -

in your case i would use connect tool instead. Ctrl + left click for multiCut will create a loop, but it will go through the entire edge ring that goes around instead of the specified edge rings. -

I picked up my our rings today. My fiance visited for lunch, and we set up a date to go to the cheesecake factory to exchange rings. The big day is May 11th. Not very traditional, but we're both not stuck on form. -

I did and noticed the file said "grenade", just wondering if its problem if its not a grenade. I asked that question before i noticed the ring and pin, thinking it could be some other sort of container, but the ring and pin are quite "grenady"... -

IF I got what you re asking right... Flow Connect here It s working on rings and partial edge rings (be creative and you ll be able to curve all surfaces you want hehe).
