@Neox Thank you very much for your reply. I don’t have any knowledge of 3D modeling, and since I’m the one who commissioned the work, I have the modeling files. What I’m wondering is simply whether there are any issues with the current sculpt when it comes to creating a cartoon-rendering style model like the images above.…
Hi there. I'm trying to make a brick wall using bricks sculpted in Mudbox, imported into 3DS Max, and instanced to create the actual wall. The problem I'm having is that the scanline renderer will cause everything on my computer to freeze up when I attempt to bake out a map. It's get so far and then the memory usage will…
Hello everyone, I'm quite new to these forums and would just like to introduce myself once again with some current work I'm doing. I just did work on base mesh using a combination of maya and zbrush and I'm currently working on street fighter character. However, in hindsight, I realized that I didn't work on feet. A friend…
Well, I'm starting this sketchbook to try and keep track of work and to see progression. I'm new to zbrush so if you got any advice then say so. I'm focusing on sculpting the face first. This is how far I got, I plan to zremesh when I have the face sort of looking correct, then increase subdvision to add in details. I'm…
As the title says, i am wondering when to sculpt and when to texture small detail. When ever I export from zbrush the mesh will get smoothed and all the often the smaller details get muddied up during the bake. If i were to make those details pop in the bake i would have to amp up the high res model quite a bit. For some…
I think one of the best features of zB is being able to zap between sub D levels. That is an easier way to get the lumps out of yr sculpt and easily control volumes. You should take a look at that method. Also Daz is a great reference while you are sculpting.
Tried to some study sculpt. Better way would be to grab cool alpha maps and speed up the final sculpt I'll do later, so won't be wasting time and see improvements gradually. Tell me what you think of the changes I made, looking forward to improve on these ones :)

Hello, Almost all pro character artists says that if you begin learning as a character artist you have to understand and learn basic shapes of human body. I started one of the Scott Eaton's tutorials, his tutorials are great, but he make more like detailed sculpting of a piece of a human body. Are there good tutorials…
