right there with yah man, one of the most respected guys I know on here was a year younger than me, totally blew my mind. if only this was highlander and I could chop peoples heads off and absorb there powers... *sharpens battle axe*
some of the more senior guys at work tell me that in thier experience game design is nearly always done by people who have risen up through the ranks of programmer/level design/art etc to become respected and knowledgeable in game design.
Hi guys, really liking the viewer. Got some weird results with a few models on Artstation though. When I looked at Satoshi's Batman and Yosuke's dragon I got a white sphere and only wireframe visible respectively. I've attached an image.

Most job listings Ive seen list max/maya as the requirement for (modeling)program knowledge but if you know alternative programs and your work is excellent, just how accomodating are most…
Hey guys, started this last night and worked on it a bit more today, and I'm ready to post it up and get some crits on it. This is my first real effort for a Celeb likeness, and I know there is still a lot I need to tweak to get it to a respectable level. C & C is welcomed and appreciated. UPDATE…
I was recently reading a blog post from a game developer I respect a lot, Jon Blow. In it he said: "t seems, in video games we have developed a tradition of bad texturing, whatever that means: unsubtle, unrefined, or just plain ugly" http://the-witness.net/news/?p=668 Is he right?
