Greetings one and all, I decided to take the plunge, more or less - decided enough was enough, as my Dual Core laptop running a GeForce 9300m GS was nowhere near cutting it. Especially since it's falling apart after ~4 years of intensive use. I have a mid-range desktop on its way to me (will post pics when I get it) - this…

Whoa, that's a heap of awesome feedback. Just what I was looking for. I'm going to revise it. I think the problem with lightbox at the moment is the images are 1680 x 1050. some of them are 250 kbs, others are at around 500 kbs. A few of you said that it was taking a while to load, but for me it loads near instantly. I…
Ding ding ding! Day 14 completed, bumpy ride but Im ready to put these studies aside for a moment to adress the issues noticed through feedback and self-critique. I say ask for raise at $80k/year and quit if they can't pay. Apply for other jobs at $80k/year (about $250 a day) and if you can't get any work at that rate then consider lowering your rate but not less than $50k/year ( would indicate you're skills aren't as valuable as you think, or you are only applying to bum places, or…
Phew! Been busy with school lately, haven't been able to find a lot of time to make items. I finished the Slark dagger, but it's not really worth making a fuss over. I guess I'll make some kind of promo image for it once and submit it anyway. Won't hurt anyone. Meanwhile, I started work on my first full item set. Making…
This is what I got from that other thread, and it isn't answering the question is it? It's not about upgrading from V3 to V4 in the slightest, it's about upgrading the educational license to a pro license. Steam sells both the educational and the commercial version, by the by: http://store.steampowered.com/app/100980/ The…
What is weird about it? That got to be the way it is because I didn't feel like chopping up all the polygons when extruding the stairs. So I just edge extruded the last edge and made single poly stairs coming out of the raised part. Then I made that concrete bit to cover up the sides, and it raised all the way up to where…
Yeah, whenever you ask for a feature for MS3d the reply is "wait for 2.0". The number of features Mete has to put into that to be competitive is so large 2.0 will take longer to develop than Duke Nukem Forever. Even a full size dev team would take a few years to get a basic version of 2.0 out.
