Re: Maya viewport not updating automatically?
I'm having this kind of a problem in Maya 2016 only when I have other windows like Hypershade open while editing an object. The problem appears instantly when I open the Hypershade and disappears instantly when I close it (and have no other additional windows open). -

this one still looks good https://area.autodesk.com/louis_tutorials/squash_and_stretch_with_cat ; Squash takes a bit of extra setup using Max bones, but not difficult. Everything seems to work as expected in 2015 and 2016. I saw something about having to enable the stretch for all bones in the chain for it to work. maybe… -

That's a really nice app, I've been using it since Version 0.6, and it's great. Now, I dont need to store more refs in my HD, only reference files. It's cool to have them all linked from the web URL. The logo looks like Mondrian, awesome. -

Python Maya Coding: Help!
Hey everyone, Stupid easy, but I can't get it to work I'm trying to import maya.cmds as maya USING the userSetup.py file. I'm in the right file path {C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\maya\2016\scripts}, but it won't load when maya opens up (tried maya.ls(sl = True)) Can anyone help?
