3 monitors, 1 120 inch projector, 1 cintiq, 3 speaker sets, 1 PC, and an Xbox Elite Controller. I wrote batch scripts to switch between animating, coding, drawing, and gaming. I didn’t buy all this hardware, I combined my office hardware with my personal hardware when we went remote full time.

Yeah as you see i am in a corner, i tried a few monitor setups, even with arms but having one monitor in front of me and then another basically 45° sidewas always felt weird compared to a normal 2 monitor setup on a non curved desk. So i opted for the Dell U4919DW.

Thanks to state corona/company support it was a bit cheaper, otherwise i would have gone for a cheaper samsung model, but i didn't trust the TA panel and wanted to go the safe route with an IPS panel, idon't really play on that machine so i wanted good colors and even brightness distribution.

The software I use to split it into 3 monitors is Display Fusion. Here i split it into one main monitor at the same resolution i was used from my default 27° screen at the office, 2560x1440. So i didnt have to update my zbrush UI or anything to accomodate a new screen size.
The other 2 virtual screens to the left and right are half that resolution.
It works great, even better than a 2 monitor setup, if anything i would have wished for slightly more of a curve in the screen, as the 2 side monitors could face me a little better.

Besides that, i wish i could get a curved mousepad as well, but i guess i would have to make one myself :x

How exactly do those ultra widescreen monitors work? Can you divide the screen into different sections (other than windows+arrows), or does going fullscreen always use the full width?

It works just like real monitors. Full screen in one virtual screen does not exceed the virtual screen size, in windowed mode you can drag it over to other monitors. But if you maximize a video, say on youtube, it goes over all 3
setting up 3 taskbars is a bit more hassle but you can do it in display fusion, the main task bar gets fed by windows, the others you have to feed with the app.
You can have 3 individual wallpapers if you want to , screensavers etc.

i barely use any of the functionality of display fusion.

I can't really post mine here because of all the NDAed printouts around the desk but there are less extreme-sized ultra wide monitors, too. You don't need to concern yourselves with desktop placement apps or the like on a 34- or 38-inch curved display. Some apps need to be taught to not open up in full screen all the time.

It's always there. It's not in the second pic because that was the day before I brought it home from the office.

Been there. I usually end up having to treat my workspace pics like a classified CIA doc with all of the blacked out redactions.

It is a custom build, just a fat sheet of plywood ordered online with custom cutouts. still need to work on it a bit more but it mostly works. cable management is not there yet, but will be. atm its just binders taped against it
