Sorry i haven't been on this thread in a bit to reply because i was busy, but with all this info i don't know where do start, but i guess for anyone or maybe Obscura since he seems to be replying often. Would say something like a realistic car be alright with all different pieces for baking or overdraw. And an example for…
Hello everyone, I am Miki and I have been creating 3D animations with Blender for 2.5 years now. Before that, I worked in the photo and video industry for 2 years. I currently also work as a freelance 3D artist and occasionally get commissions. After a while, I realized that my strength is definitely in modeling. I find it…
Barbarian you replied to Fomori: He stated. I said. Your reply above? "I mentioned no facts about pay discrepancies between rich and poor." Your right. You didn't. But that was part of Fomoris original statement. You only gave facts of why production versus pay has changed. NOT why rich vs poor has. And yes, your bias did…
Hi guys ! i'm trying to replicate the trace that a windhsiled wiper would create when passing over a dusty windshield, like you see in the photo below : Does anybody have any tips on how to achieve this ? ( i'm using photoshop to create the texture )
This is brilliant - I'd really like to see more into the "making of" so that it's a bit easier to replicate - do you just send the next person a slice of a 3D plane where your body part ends? Like a CT scan?
More helmet WIP a lot of tedious tweaking/adding. Need to get that design language down along with the readability then I think the other parts will be a lil easier to do since ill have a set idea of what to replicate.
Thanks Monkey. Yeah the lower jaw isn't done yet. I just been focusing on getting the head to look right, and then replicating that for all of the other textures. I'm going to make the corrections you suggested and continue to update.
you got any context to that gif? looks like some kind of custom tool from Duber. probably not something that can be replicated easily. you might try 2 IK chains and swtich the arm in between them.
Ok so now that that's out of the way... How WOULD you get a render like this done in, say, Keyshot? I'm really needing to replicate this translucency effect through a solid object. Or should I make a new thread?
Not really game art related but, I just received a Makerbot Replicator 2 and this is my first print of my art. Only 3cm tall and a third of the res so I can go a lot higher with detail and scale :)
