Hello everyone, it has been quite a long time since I posted something here, so i'll do exactly that today. I have been working on an ops core fast helmet ballistic version and some binoculares both PBR ready. I used UE4 for the render and will soon update my portfolio and hunt for a job... again.... I'am also working on…
I know I made a previous thread for another scene a few weeks back, but I just don't have enough inspiration to continue it for now. Another one I have been tinkering with for a while. I want to do a scene based on the theme of Dying Americana. An old staple of American culture dying out in the modern day is the Drive In…

Added a vertically tiling trim normal onto the pillars, its just a 45 degree bevel but it makes them look a lot nicer from a distance as it smooths the edge plus anti aliasing at a distance. May be a bit too extreme and I think this pillar would probably have a narrow rounded corner but good results so far, Also created 2…
Hey all! I'm looking for a way to view a list of all materials used within a level / sub level in UE4... I'm hoping there is something like this built into the engine but I haven't had much luck in finding an answer. I know there is the reference viewer... but I'm having a hard time navigating it since there is no filter…

Hello Polycounters! I am happy to show you my latest project - Octopus Diner, built in Unreal engine 4. My inspiration was Stephan Brisson's artwork - http://tinyurl.com/h23a3x4. Everything modelled in maya, textured in photoshop (using quixel suite). I also made a simple flythrough in UE4 sequencer, but it was my first…
This thought has come across my mind, that what I been doing for years now, could have better alternative ways of doing... I make characters, but I definitely haven't sunk in enough time to do a decent job of rigging models to animate them yet... Then I think of the rise of game engines lately, and I wonder; is it more…
