Hi Everyone!
I am starting to work on my D.va Overwatch fanart. I am planning this to be a handpained texture character and bring her into UE4 for rendering. I will keep update the progress here. hope I could receive some input from you guys, I am trying to find a balance between handpainted look and next-gen PBR look.

I am working on Hi-poly version of D.va . seem like I cant stand the way of manually break down High poly model into ID and group to do baking, so I decided to dedicate my whole Saturday to write this little script to break down objects of Hi-poly model that correspondence to the lowpoly one then export them base on Material ID and automatically offset these groups to prevent intersect baking.
Still need to find a way to hook this script with Xnormal to do automatic linking. .
I will polish this little guy some more then one day he will be ready for commercial lol .
btw, What 's your most frustrated problems when working with baking Low/High Poly ? XD I might able to integrate some functions to address these problems when release this one .
very draft texture of the body and face so far . I use baked Ao and object Normal Map with ID color to create the rough base color.
More detail version of the body texture and hair . any C&C are more than welcome !
What did you use to model the hair in Maya? Very clean results.

@Bal: Thanks man , the hair is just straight plain NURB & polygon modeling in Maya . I will do some break down after this .

Is the baking script done in Maya? Let us know when you are finishing with it! Looks super useful
