Hello i'm new here. In last month i create my first environment i game engine (UE4) assets done in Blender. Most of textures are from textures.com, foliage are modeling in Blender and render to texture. C&C welcome. cheers
Got inspired by the arch viz scenes done by koola, so I decided to dust off an old project I never finished and remade it in UE4. Video: http://youtu.be/sS1UUz3I27s
Hello people and welcome to my first post on Polycount :D I have started making scene in UE. To be honest I don't know when I will be able to complete this project, but I will COMPLETE it and I will be trying to work and post as often as possible. WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE: a) CONFIDENCE BOOST - Remaking one of my old…
it looks ok in Substance Painter but when i put the low poly in UE4 i get these triangulation errors. I tired exporting from 3d max with or without tangents and bit normals, with or without triangulate but nothing works. How could I fix this?
I wanted to create a winter forest environment in UE4 mainly focusing on foliage variety, lighting and something you could see in a game. I was going for a single camera angle for this scene and overall i'm happy with how it turned out, hopefully you enjoy!
Nothing as exciting as a good ol scifi hallway! Another testbed for me for some new modelling techniques aswell as trying to get the hang of UE4. Still very early, so tons of holes, placeholders, and general funkyness :) Will post some more assets soon.
Quick question, I want to mirror a metallic wall mesh that I have, it will have a somewhat reflective surface. Will this negatively affect the reflection in UE4 in anyway? Will I see a mirrored reflection? Same question when dealing with refraction as well. Will this be an issue at all? Thanks.
Hi, Here's some images of my latest environment work. Made with UE4, modelled in Maya, sculpted with Mudbox and textured with substance painter/designer. You can see more high res screens and a fly through here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/aPkm0
Hey guys, just had a quick session in worldmachine and UE4 and here are the results. This thing covers around 32km x 18km something in total area, so yeah its pretty huge and dynamically lit. This'll be my 1st venture with WM and I'm quite liking it for its results. Share your thoughts
