There's no medical proof that says 2nd hand smoke kills (only assumptions and guesses). I would not doubt though, that the chemicals are in fact affecting you to some degree. Cadmium, Arsenic, etc - all of that stuff can have adverse affects even in small doses. Staying there and breathing second hand smoke won't kill you… -

it all depends on the enviro she's gonna fit the meshes in. if she put these in a waresque environment, the couch will fit, but the lamp wont. if she put both in a home library, both will fit again, if she put both in a living room, the lamp will fit but the wear of the sofa wont as much, as im guessing the owner would be… -

So it is not high res enough for a polypaint ? And still im not sure why you need a highres uv'ed version to make your diffuse texture just to rebake it back on the lowres. You will even loose quality because of subsampling during the baking process. I would just paint on the lowres and use masks like cavity based to sort… -

It's a toss up, but I'd say just work on your portfolio. A degree isn't as needed, although some schools have some close relationships with some studios.
