I'm looking to get a start in video game development and have a web site up to showcase my work. I'd be very interested in feedback and suggestions about the site and the work. My site: http://www.biased.info Thank you very much!

Hey guys, Is this a normal thing? I've seen a couple of these in the showcase subforum, and i've just been given one myself. In all my experience working, 1 week turnaround on a character is insane... So why are these art-tests happening? I'd love to be clued in on this.
Just watched the youtube video, the scene is looking great! I really appreciate the explanations and showcase of the workflow to create it  If you were to recreate another map from any of the Halo games which one would you choose?
I've done a bit of research, and it looks like this is put in place to prevent spammers. Three comments are needed to unlock commenting on your own threads. I continue my art progress showcase by posting it in the comments of my post, right?
