They should create these "make your own videogame" where they just give you a skeleton-game, boxes and planes and stuff like that, maybe an occational teapot, That way we could buy the games and make the art for it ourselves!
@Vexod14 I'm curious about this software, since I'm interested in skinning/binding (and maybe even [control] rigging) my characers to a skeleton. But most importantly, does it have a non-destructive layer system for weights, like Maya's ngSkinTools plugin has? https://www.ngskintools.com
This was just posted over at Zbrush central. Now you can paint zsphere volumes onto a zsphere rig/skeleton without completely relying on the zspheres adaptive skin to produce the volume you want. It looks pretty awesome. http://zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=073956
Hello I wanted to make a viking longship with animated rows but I dunno how to setup the skeleton structure , how can I organize so that all rows move almoust in stnc with a center if rotation in their middle lenght? Thanks fir any ideas and sugestion.

I love the face of that dark mage and his skeleton armor/ornaments remind me of one of my favorite armor sets from Guild Wars 2 - the very cool Krytan armor set. Very excited to see more of that summer project.
Update! Did some more texturing and rigged it with Advanced Skeleton to get a pose. Changed the face in ZBrush and started to play around with some lights! Next up, more texturing and I'd like to have two poses, this one and a maniacal laughter pose!
Yes you'll need a preset skeleton. The Marcus Fenix model and bone structure is available from UDN. You'll want to skin your new model to that bone set, but IIRC there isn't a lot of modification support for custom art content for GOW pc.
I think maya 2011 was the last version with FBIK and is now fully replaced by HIK. You can try to bake down your animation on the skeleton the select the hips right click on translate z and x in the Channel Box and press "mute selected".
