They are in EXR cause only EXR files can store all AOVs and are 32 bit.

Just recreate the cylinder but instead let it have 6 or 8 sides instead of 32.

indian_boy, max9 is both 32 and 64 bit, it is up to the user which one they run.

Yeah, 24 bit doesn't save the alpha channel so you need 32.
