I use PNGs for anything 8 bit RGB and TGA for everything else. But been doing that for 15+ years now. It's crazy this is still an issue. -

They have 15 vehicles, so your doing 30 textures 15 normal and 15 snow. The Low , Med and High is only the category they fit into. So 5 are low armor 7 are med armor and 3 are high armor, your not doing more but you need to pack them accordingly -

i'm going to assume that the OP or anyone else interested already has made the decision that they want/need a portable workstation class laptop. and they are going to use it to do the same work you would do on a normal workstation. so no arguing about 12-...-vs-...-17 etc. one point tho, since about the geforce9 gtx mobile… -

Have you considered a Mac or are you wanting a PC? I bought a 13" Macbook Pro last year after having one of the older 15" Pro's, and it's been absolutely awesome. Build quality and design is incredible and obviously the Mac OS is rock solid. Let me just say I'm not a full on Mac fanboy, I use a PC for work and like them…
