Ditto on the updates, I personally would like to see some new expansion on the tutorials, don't think its on there anymore. They really helped a lot when I started learning how to model including the modular building technique.
Working on this building in Cincinnati for my portfolio I have a good chunk of the building done and it's very modular, but it's kinda hard to show until it's all placed together. Going to stick it in UDK, just finished this ornament that goes between the trims in the squares Crit's welcome always!
Wanted to post the current high-res sculpt of the tree trunks I'm going with for now to polish and texture for beta submission :) Any feedback on the sculpt is greatly appreciated! Went as ham as possible with TrimDynamic and hPolish (+ nifty Orb brushes) to get clean edges similar to the inspiration I've been referencing.…
Thought I'd start posting some of the stuff I've been messing with. I'm always taking feedback, so if you got something to say I'd like to hear it. Soo here's my WIPS... modular wall and the diffuse and a building i've been tweaking Thanks for stopping by.
Hello, I made this little scene in 3ds max based on a concept of conceptroot.com I broke up the scene in parts and started modular modeling. Then I came up with this, it's far from finished but I thought it's worth posting so I could get feedback.
Hello Guys, the last weeks i was working on a project called "Old Hallway". It was there to learn stuff like CageBake or Modular Modelling. In this post i wanted to show us my progress :) Hope you like it ^^ (Sorry for my grammar mistakes because im from Germany)
I am looking for a auto rigging tool, paid or free, which can do facial rigging as well. Rapid rig modular is great from what i can see but it cant do facial rigging. Any recommendations?
Thanks Rexo. The cinema is going to be the central element with a different design to the rest of the modular shop structures. Another consideration is I will create some kind of modern art statue or fountain to place in the middle like I had on the old version. .
What kind of drone did you use? Got any tips for delighting? I generaly think that large objects like this building are better off done in a modular fashion with tileable textures and some decals here and there but this should be interesting.
Oh, but then we are talking about astronomically huge differences. Houdini is a modular software that is built from simulation and area recognition, everything in Houdini is modern and take a good lot of time to process due to it's power, there is no comparison between Maya and Houdini.
