Hi all, Does someone (earthquake maybe) knows when the new version of Marmosetn Toolbag is gonna be released? In the trailer I saw there will be some cool features that would be really helpful on a personal project kinda right now. Let me know!!! pls!!!
EDIT: Erased original question because it was convoluted and basically not describing my problem. The Problem: Mirrored objects are behaving strangely with applied normal maps. No amount of freezing, reversing normals, changing render stats is getting them to display correctly. Not sure what going on.
concept by armandeo64. SOS~~~I'm struggling with insert mesh. I'm trying to make the rope straight at the corners but when I tried to move the curve, it strayed wildly and rotated.:poly127: Are there any tricks here? C&C r always welcome. Many thanks~
I'm working on some Characters/Items to submit to the Steam Workshop. I'm building them in Maya 2010. In the Dota 2 Shader Masks Guide it is stated that every hero, item, courier, and creep make use of 'the hero shader in Dota 2.' I'm wondering if anyone has made a material network for Maya, or has a setup for an external…
Something like this? This is a mesh transformed into curves then filled and passed through a triangle tessellation group, all with Blender's geonodes. Corners are preserved in the conversion to curves by being marked with a Boolean x Point attribute so they get temporarily split. You may need to tweak the Corner Angle…
Just to clarify. The software I am developing is more similar to Photoshop, GIMP or Paint.net, than to Substance Designer or Nuke. Because of the nature of a node based engine, almost any workflow is possible. My first objective is to implement all the functionality of Paint.net, with some extras like non-destructive…
Sorry to be playing the fool here, but is it possible to steer me towards some kind of tutorial, or similar thread. I've never had to do anything like this, and i'm still a relative 'noob' when it comes to the udk.
I think that you are having trouble expressing this fundamental concept because it is more of a spiritual belief than anything rooted in actual cause and effect. So long as an action both fits within your moral code and is in the long term interests of a company it can be said that either motivation is in play. Are their…
Cool story & its inspiring me to want to do something similar, though i have enough lined up as it is. However, the enthusiastic effort is oozing from your update & is definitely coming across for me. I like how he's using the skin of fallen zergs as a "cover", if you haven't check out some of the riddick movies when he…
Hi @Fabi_G Thank you for your patience. I really appreciate your support. I can share the specific model if needed, although I’m not sure it’s necessary. I did some reading and experimented a bit with baking at 2x resolution and then downscaling and normalizing the normals. The results are definitely much better now. See…
