Want to learn Mel or Python for creating hotkeys to speed up my workflow in Maya
Are there some good tutorials you know of for beginners of Maya and 3D software scripting (3ds Max for 3 years and Modo for 4). I just want to be able to create hotkeys for simple things like toggling between Marquee and Drag functions in the select tool or switching between Pinch/Slide/Segments in the connect tool. -
Cant use the Insert Edge Loop Tool, when Create Polygon Tool was used
Hi Dudez! Have some troubles with my Polygon that i made with Mayas Create Polygon Tool. I Cant use the Insert Edge Loop Tool to add Details to the weapon. I Want to add some edges on the main side of the weapon to smooth that weapon. Without Edges smoothing destroys the weapon. What im doin wrong? -

Thank you Eric! I couldn't find a decent script or software. Speedtree Compiler (which is part of the UE4/Unity subscription or Speedtree for Games) can do it with assets created in Speedtree.
