Re: f0 to IOR online calculator?
I've seen this formula floating around Specular (f0)= ( ( IOR − 1 ) / ( IOR + 1 ) ) ² that puts acrylic (IOR 1.49) at 0.0387 which is 0.5 which is what everyone works with.. (the 0-1 range in a specular/specular level map being 0.0 - 0.08 normalised) -

If you are working on your portfolio, are you selling your portfolio pieces on the Unity asset store or Turbosquid? If you made four asset packages a month and you've been out of work for 8 months, you would be making about $700 a month now minimum. -

7zip is strange. Best compression format I've ever seen. I remember having an image file of Vagrant Story, which was around 700 megs, yet somehow with .7zip, it was compressed down to 90 megs. |: | I digress... Hopefully those maps are fun maps. : ) -
Portfolio-characters
These are my personal works where I tried my character sculpting and texturing skills. In a game industry mostly I have done environment but my real passion was and always be characters :) Just wonder what you think about my works. Creating DS Textures
The DS has supports 18-Bit (260 000) colors. In photoshop, how do you tell your color palette to only display colors that are 18-bit? I don't know if its something totally noob of me to not know, but I can't find it in the photoshop help files either. Thanks for any help -
Printer problem
The stupid printer I'm using seems to have gotten clogged. I have done the clean cycle nonsense several time. The only color that doesn't seem to work is that black one. I also just bought a new ink cartridge as well. GRRRR. So is there a way to fix this? It's and Epson stylus 700 photo. Thanks. Alex -
Shotgun!
