Printer problem

The stupid printer I'm using seems to have gotten clogged. I have done the clean cycle nonsense several time. The only color that doesn't seem to work is that black one. I also just bought a new ink cartridge as well. GRRRR. So is there a way to fix this? It's and Epson stylus 700 photo. Thanks.

Return the ink cartridge, get a replacement.
