I'm buying my PC copy on the 11-05-04 and will be setting up a server Saturday night 11-06-04 at 6:30PM West coast time. Which means it'll be 8:30pm central time and I think either 9:30 or 10:30pm east coast. Got the game and want to fight, and then stay tuned for more info on the server type and name to jump in. I look…
Hey fellow polycounters. I finally after 5 years reworked my portfolio page to a new concept I've had in my mind for awhile. This is my first pass at putting it up, so I'm sure there's stuff broken or miss types. If you have a chance to check it out, let me know what you find and think. www.3d-jeff.com FYI Yes, it uses…
Hello everyone, This is my first post on polycount. I am using this project to practice making armor. I will make this into a real time game character. I couldnt resist making some renders in v ray. The high poly stage is done, but critiques are always welcome. I will post my progress when i am further along with the low…

Wow, cant believe I didnt notice the ls -flatten flag, no idea how I missed it. Wish more things in mel had simple solutions like that :p I've actually used your save selection script FunkyB, comes in handy quite often. Unfortunatly it breaks part of mayas performPolyExtrude procedure, which I'm using for one of my scripts…
@seth I plan on making a single ring, rather lowpoly, and using duplicate with transform to build a flat square of chainmail. Then I will use the bend deformer and lattice deformer to shape them around the body. There's pretty much no way to avoid getting a crazy polycount so I'm waiting with that step until the end…
