A viking ship is not just simple boat with two rows of paddles/shields and one sail. It's a warship. At least, it has two decks or one deck and a cargo hold. Just think about - such ship could have been in the sea up for several month, and there should be place at least for loot, not mention about food, water, armor,… -

Your concept has much deeper skin folds, I would work these into your sculpt at a lower subdiv level, to keep your fine detail. As it is, it kind of looks like a plastic model. Thanks Doomathon! So I looked into painter to marmoset and I actually noticed how much of a bad representation I was showing for the hammer.
