So i am having to bake out a bunch of lightmaps for a mobile game. I'll be using a linear workflow in max to bake the maps however iv been informed gamma correction is too expensive for the shaders so the calculations will be performed in gamma space. ACME Brick Designer http://www.acmebrick.com/md/index.htm Great little program for laying down a base image of bricks and then building up your texture from there after in PS. Possible to set amount of rows of bricks, change mortar colour and brick style. Some great little apps here people, cheers.
Your bricks are looking good, but they're a little too shiny. Bricks are very dull in reality. Right now it's looking less like brick and more like ceramic. Good work, so far, though.
