another method that works if the edge rings are of equal width is to ctrl + middle mouse on add edge loop to bisect the edge rings 50%, then bevel components on this new loop to pinch/slide them as needed. though with non uniform width edge ring this will give poor results because the pinch is % based. -

A good roach rush vs terran is godly unless they've massed tanks. And yeah mutas + super lings is the best combo in the game. Send your lings in front to soak up damage and the mutas behind, or just pop a crapload of lings and use them to distract while you rape the base. -

While it does take some visual cues from the concept, it doesn't look anything like the concept in regards to style. You appear to have left out the subtleties or miss-proportioned most of the major elements that makes the concept zing. maybe try making some plan views before you model? -

It's purely the lack of complexity in the model itself. The chair and X-Wing compared to your Alien Monster Scene is like comparing the X-Wing to Legoland :D In short: The X-Wing and Chair are not a lot of work and can be done very fast and therefore don't offer a lot to look at. They are not bad, they just are not "a lot"… -

Thx Suba! The knot is just some 3D Max trickery. I first twisted 4 cylinders together to make a segment of rope. Then I used a bend modifier to bend the rope into a ring. Then I just copied the ring and turned it 90 degrees and offset it so the rings interlinked. I will do more to it in ZB later to polish it up but it does… -
