Looking real nice! I think the neck is a bit long and thin, giving her a more delicate appearance. If you look at the concept her chin is close to the colar, and her shorter neck is giving her a tougher and more warrior monk-esque look. Its a stylistic choice, so I guess its whatever you want to go for.

Really cool stuff. My only crit and it's really minor, would be the pose of the warrior at the top of the stone staircase. It comes off slightly amusing rather than creating some tension. It's as if he's about to say "Helllooooo?" or else looking at a companion taking a quick snap shot on his or her mobile from the bottom.…
You talk as if Viva Pinata was a bad game. I'm 35 so I don't see them as suddenly getting good in the 90's, I thoroughly enjoyed Slalom, Wizards & Warriors, RC Pro-Am and many other 80's titles. Are you sure the slowing output isn't a result of the increased time & budget to make games?
