So this is a project that I'd like to call done but I'd like to get a bit more C&C on it. Basically I wanted it to look like the sight had been left for several months to a year and pounded into the dirt and used within an inch of its breaking point. Anyways let me know what you think. Marm Viewer can be found…
Hey guys! I would like some feedback for a character I recently did. To sum him up he is a mix of the Incredibles, Megaman and Tokusatsu. I envisioned him as a kid-like character, sort of like Dash, Astro Boy (the anime one, not the movie) and Hiro (Big Hero 6). He is intended for in-game use with Diffuse and Specular…
When I setup a project in substance and add my normal map it gives me these weird shading issues: (not sure why the lines are happening they didn't appear the first time I imported to substance) You can see this in blender as well but it goes away once the normal map is added It also appears on the top lip of the head…
if you have an IK rig setup already i'd just go straight to the animations and see if it makes for feasible workflow. I mean if you have a handful of animations to do that maybe amounts to like <50 hours of work, not sure that spending another 20 hours or more to make some additional rig features that might improve…
Looks like I pretty much missed the show with this thing. I'm going to try to pull something together anyways, because I've always liked the UT games and I will probably finish whatever I start here at some point even if it isn't for a contest. I sincerely hope the ripper is back in this game. I never really understood why…
Hi everyone, I'm trying to understand environment art for games again. I've been away from it for a long time (like 10 years) doing visualization work, and the production pipeline for that is different, to say the least. I created this fan art of the church from Final Fantasy VII Remake to practice utilizing modular pieces…

Hi everybody, I would like some opinions about the environment I'm working on. Here's an image: here you can see the modular pieces I used: I also was wondering if it is better to divide the arc like this: or if it is better to keep like this: However, in the last example, the face between the small windows isn't totally…
I'm trying to make a gauntlet that is looks extremely large/beefy to the point of being cartoony, blocky frame like the way TF2 does it's hand, specifically sorta like the Heavy's hand, and very like, brutal like War's gloves in Darksiders. Anyways I am having a ton of trouble making a good gauntlet look the way I want it…
Hey there! I'm working on a bust for a school project, and I'm really trying to challenge myself and get a close likeness. My subject is dear Al Capone. I would love any and all feedback in order to get the likeness nailed--it's a real challenge so far. Quick reference board, to get an idea of the reference I've been using…
