Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted anything! Here is a small(~10mb) asset you can drop in your Unreal Engine project to get a simple tweakable scene for showcasing your models. It has some settings you can tweak ( select the environment, change HDR intensity etc ) and I'll add more controls soon. You can download…

Hello Guys! This is my first time posting here and sorry for not having no WIP. So! This is a project that was inspired by the Ragnosaur demo and i thought it'd be cool to make something like that to showcase my models. This is the first time i make something like this in Unreal 4 so it's pretty basic, but i ended up…

While the client's studio unfortunately shut down, we received permission from the executive producer to showcase the work we contributed, particularly the visual proof-of-concept for the project. Given just one month, our…

Hi Friends! I'm having a bit of an issue getting the weight of my objects inside of Unreal to "feel right". For small props - the mass and "floatiness" of things feels pretty decent, but once they start getting much bigger (to say, the size of a barrel) it still feels lightweight and floaty. I'm noticing the same issue…
Hey Polycount, Around a year ago I got to work with FX Artist Tim Elek on making a sample Showcase for some of the effects in UE4. I was responsible for the modeling, meshing, texturing/materials and lighting/post-process in the level, while Tim did all the effects. Mark Morgan contributed the statue piece and Michael…
I'd suggest just doing literally anything, you will learn what works for you by actually doing things. Unity and Unreal are free for a beginner so you might wanna start with either of those.
Hey all! :) So ive been working on this project for a little bit now and decided that I had enough to show to make a thread here on Polycount. So the project is the Catiline Conspiracy and its a cinematic series made in Unreal 4. Its based off the historical Second Catilinarian Conspiracy. So right now a lot of the pre…
