I don't really understand why anyone would watch someone else play a game, especially single player games, when they can spend time playing it themselves. I mean there's those streamers that have audiences for very obvious reasons, but if the rest of them pigeons are too broke to purchase a legit copy, its as good as… -

I doubt it would have a negative impact. At least not if you behave yourself on twitch. I see several people who work at game studios who stream on twitch. I certainly would not think of it as a bad thing. As for "getting recognized", I would worry about that if/when the time comes. It takes a lot of commitment to build up… -
