Hey polycounters, I just made myself a portfolio site. I've heard from many people now that it's really important to have a dedicated portfolio website so today I decided to make one. Any feedback and crits would be appreciated as it is still a work in progress. Thanks in advance everybody, Jack McKelvie…
Here's a weapon I've been working on. If you've played Marathon/Halo games you're probably familiar with the sort of weapon I'm going after. Material wise, I'm going after for a bit of a damaged/aged look but I think I might have overdone it in some ways, and underdone it in others. More decals? Thoughts? (Polycount…
Hi PolyCount! Brand new to the community, and looking to dive right in. Hi Polycounters! I did some Mars work and it's still very WIP. UE4's lighting definitely needs some work. Would die for a cryengine like TOD system. It's really tricky to make some specific atmospheres in UE4. Currently using a Directional Light, a Skylight and an Exponential Height Fog. Will post updates soon.

This is the Gold submission for my university project I worked on with three other very talented student artists. We still have two weeks to improve upon what we already have and I was hoping to be able to get some feedback from the Polycount community on how we can improve. https://vimeo.com/267763631
