I don't have any critique on the shape, but the designs on the top look a bit busy, maybe move some of the busyness to the sides? Gamer-mind tells me that the crate contains: Nades, ammo, health and shield recharges though.
wow its incredible :O the only thing that looks unnatural to me is after the big shield burst the right guy does this slide with his right foot and the starting position of the sliding looks a bit not good for this kind of movement
Love the Brando sculpt - you've managed to create an excellent likeness! As for the latest DS fan art, it looks solid, but my only complaint is that the pose has caused the shield to block a lot of the nice details you worked into the armour.
I think i'm pretty much done with the base room now, just a long hall. I will start adding props now, shields on the walls, torches... and what else I can think of would fit here.
Yeah as far as the original drop pod your spot on, I was just thinking in terms of design that concave bottom is going to make the pod tumble. If you look at acctual space vehicules they tend to have a dome like shield :
Just a small addition. I today made my first attempt at a wooden shield for a personal project. For me it's going to be interesting to see how it will look ingame, once textures are baked and made. As always C&C are appreciated.
Character inspired by Ragnarok >Ignore the "line" down the center...he is still instanced. >I will add wrinkles and folds later...Im still blocking out the shape of the clothing. >He doesn't have a left arm...yet >The shield is still basic...and details will be added. - Chels
hello got a quick question im sure someone can answerer iv been working on a quick shader for a similar effect to the bubble shield in the halo games and im trying to figure out a good way to make the transition between it and the ground less harsh.
Skullman, another evil boss baddie from the Megaman universe. What's funny is that he a direct knockoff of Woodman. The leaf cutter is just the same as the skull shield. Oh well. I'm still rigging him so he may look a bit funky right now.
Thanks a lot Pixel! Slowly gathering some feedback here and there. I'll see if I can find some more time to fix up bits and pieces like the roof textures and maybe add more geo around the chimneys. And good point about the shield!
