Subscribed. You are producing some really awesome stuff! I want to start doing some more handpainted/stylised stuff with SD, I feel there can be some really stellar results with it, as you have proven with your wood flooring! Keep it up dude!
Blender is capable to paint directly on the model (texture paint mode). It works really great and I do all my character handpainting with blender 3d painting now (thought I'm still a beginner in the art department ). Awesome work of suzanne, this is a great idea to practise
Hi! I did this handpainted diorama, here https://www.artstation.com/artwork/w6AZvg you can also see the marmoset viewer of the model. I think the harder stage of the work was the foliage, it's difficult to place it without showing the cut between ground and grass. Let me know if you have any critic or suggestion :)
Hello Polycounters :) i want to share my latest work here. More images and free stuff on my Artstation : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/QzzEP8 hope you like the result, all texture are fully procedural or handpainted in SP. The veins are alphas extracted from cornea xrays. cheers!
Hi all, I'm entering in this year's Blizzard student contest! This is what I've got so far. Everything was modeled in 3dsMax and handpainted in Photoshop and 3dCoat. Some assets are still not painted, and I'll be touching up on some of the textures to give them a final polish. Any feedback would be awesome!
Hi! I'm making a dragon character and I was wondering how you would go about doing a beetle carapace look for the scales in PBR? The techniques I've seen so far is faking the effect in handpainted reflection maps, but I was wondering if there was a workflow for using a shader in UE4. Examples:
The SF4 PC benchmark is available! http://file.4gamer.net/demo/StreetFighterIV_Benchmark.zip And the neat thing is that if you put the characters settings to low it switches to diffuse only. Very handpainted! Meaning it would probably looks like crap under other lighting conditions hehe. Interesting!
I created a house model to work on hand-painted textures with, and possibly made it too complex for its purpose, and now I feel a little lost on its design. Should I try a simpler, more cartoony model? Textures are still WIP or have a placeholder, but any thoughts on them are appreciated too. :)
Hi. I would love some Critique/Feedback on the project i am currently working on. I am currently stuck in my progress and don`t know how to take it to the next level. Its handpainted and inspired by the Blizzard world of warcraft style. Thanks in advanced for the feedback!
Hello Greentoothers ! I did some times ago a modular environment for a canceled indie mobile game, Hand painted texture and lightmaps, like the good ol' 98's pc game :) I plan to put it on my portfolio ,do you have any advice or feedback ? Thanks !
